Die Konferenz mit dem Titel „De Gasperis Europa. Die Zukunft Europas” fand am Dienstag, den 23. April um 17 Uhr in Rom statt.

Die Coalición Canaria und die Europäische Demokratische Partei organisierten ein Seminar über Migration, Asyl und Flüchtlinge im Kulturzentrum CICCA in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
An der Veranstaltung nahmen der Generalsekretär der Coalición Canaria und Präsident der Kanarischen Inseln, Fernando Clavijo, sowie der Generalsekretär der Europäischen Demokratischen Partei und Europaabgeordnete, Sandro Gozi, teil. Ziel war es, den kürzlich verabschiedeten Europäischen Migrationspakt aus verschiedenen Blickwinkeln zu betrachten und Maßnahmen sowie Instrumente zu diskutieren, die eine Förderung der lokalen Beteiligung an der europäischen Antwort auf die Herausforderung der Migration ermöglichen.
